This all started as a branding conversation with some of my great clients. I'm Jameson and have the last name of "Dick". Throughout my life I have dealt with name issues, in business know as branding. I started out with the nickname "Jamie". As a child I hated my middle name. In school I was teased about my last name. My friends called me Jambo for a while, and yes that was during the 80's. Now I have people calling me all sorts of things, fortunately most are good. "J", "JD", "JBD", and "hey Dick". And I don't run from any of it. With a first name that happens to be one of the best whiskey's in the world and according to Google, a well known adult performer, combined with a last name that was a point of teasing for my younger years, people seem to remember my name. So enter the online world and how best to brand oneself...maybe insert some humor along with some some realities I have already dealt with.

As for Jane, I have know a few. Can't say I have starred in any books with any of them.

And what is up with "Dick Does It"? Well this came out of a conversation with some friends, who recognizing the variety of passions and projects I am involved with, suggested that that I should be the star of the next reality TV show. Well I don't know if I am ready to have a camera recording my sleep habits (and I still maintain that I do not snore). So for now you will have to get your fix online in the doses I am able to offer.

Please forgive my indulgence in using a page spread from the Dick and Jane series of books. And for the references back to my childhood! A few of us had these books to learn our first words and can relate. The rest of you are probably lost! ;-)
